Imo State Government partners Dana Air To Launch an Airline.

Dana Air says it has entered into a partnership with the Imo State Government to launch Imo Air to be operated by the airline. The airline Communications Manager, Kingsley Ezenwa, made this known in a statement in Lagos on Tuesday. According to Ezenwa, Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State said at the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri during the launch of the partnership that the contract will last for a 10-year period. Okorocha said: “It is borne out of our desire to increase business activities in Imo, improve tourism drive, diversify its economy and provide employment opportunities for our citizens. “We have no Air Operator Certificate and that is why we approached one of the leading airlines in Nigeria to manage this service for us. “We believe that our partnership with Dana Air to operate Imo air is a step in the right direction to open Imo State to the world.” Okorocha also said in the statement that the Imo State International Cargo was in the offing as par...

The relationship between physical activity and #cancer incidence has  been extensively studied, with over 60 studies published in different  part of the world. Most studies indicate that physically active women  have a lower risk of developing breast cancer than inactive women;  however, the amount of risk reduction achieved through physical activity  varies widely (between 20 to 80 percent) (6, 7). Although most evidence  suggests that physical activity reduces breast cancer risk in both  premenopausal and postmenopausal women (6), high levels of moderate and  vigorous physical activity during adolescence may be especially  protective. Domestic Violence: Naval Officer Beats Wife To Death In Lagos

An official of the Western Naval Command, Apapa, Lagos, Omojoye Ayodele, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his wife, Mary Egbailo. According source, Ayodele on Tuesday allegedly beat up the victim till she gave up the ghost at their house on Eze Anthony Street, in the Igando, Alimosho area of the state. It was gathered that the 30-year-old suspect had gone to bring back the wife from the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in the area, where she was said to have been since Sunday. Shortly after they entered their apartment, an argument reportedly ensued between them, which led to a fight.He then, allegedly beat his 29-year-old wife till she became weak and died. She was said to have been rushed to El-Dunamis Hospital, a private medical centre in the area, where she was confirmed dead.
